The hospitality business was established in 1979 and has operated the Queen Street Mall outdoor restaurants in Australia’s busiest pedestrian Mall since 1982. We also operate the Pig N Whistle Pubs throughout SE Queensland and more recently Wellington Road Catering from our central kitchen at 187 Wellington Road East Brisbane. The business is fully integrated – developing our own coffee, wine and beer brands, growing and sourcing our own beef, creating new sauces and dishes in our central kitchen. We manufacture our own furniture, design and build our own premises and through Mayfair College (our Australian Government accredited training organisation or RTO) train our own staff to Diploma level.

Pig N Whistle
The Pig N Whistle is the leading branded pub group in Queensland with authentic British Pub décor, food and beers but with large outdoor garden areas in keeping with the perfect climate of this region. There is a strong emphasis on sport – particularly football – with the pubs drawing large crowds of fans for the showing of live matches around the world.

Cafe East is the smallest restaurant on the Queen Street Mall with a tiny kitchen that still manages to serve authentic Asian food to the highest standard.
Milano is an elegant outdoor Café in the European tradition with an emphasis on excellent Italian cuisine and an extensive wine and beverage list.

Mantle & Cook, our recently established catering arm is based at our central kitchen facilities at 187 Wellington Road East Brisbane. We have the facilities and experience to cater for functions from 20 to 5,000 people.
