QHA magazine features Pig ‘N’ Whistle Brunswick St
The April Queensland Hotels Association magazine has featured Pig ‘N’ Whistle Brunswick Street as one of Brisbane’s most exciting new venues, with a sprawling bar and beer gardens in an architecturally inspiring heritage listed brick building. The venue opened in July 2014, taking up the site of former Ortiga restaurant, and has become a popular dining and pub destination for restaurants in the area and those looking for a local corner spot where they can be assured of great meals, a buzzing atmosphere and entertainment through events, live music and live sport all year round. With a retractable roof in the upstairs courtyard and heating through the winter months, the venue really lends itself to be ideal for any season and caters for great functions of 20 people to in excess of 150, with several fantastic function spaces making it the most ideal location for corporate functions, birthdays, Christmas parties, financial year parties, going away parties and engagement parties in Brisbane. Our function spaces and packages can cater for all of your needs; from microphones, slideshows and audio visual systems, sport, live music, DJ’s and music playlists as well as co-ordinating appropriate furniture, decorations and gift tables should your function require this. The venue features an incredible downstairs restaurant that offers a refined yet casual dining experience with an eclectic menu of global flavours, delicious steaks and a unique variety of wines courtesy of 2,000 bottle wine cellar located as a feature wall in the restaurant. To ensure the ingredients used in their venues are consistently top-quality, Mantle Group has removed any room for error by cutting out the middle men when it comes to their suppliers for their Pig ‘N’ Whistle venues. Where possible, Mantle Group likes to source and manage every step of the process from paddock to plate. Thanks again to the lovely folk from QHA magazine for featuring Pig ‘N’ Whistle Brunswick Street in their April edition.
